If you divide up the year 2008 for pictures, there’s the regular life stuff that happened basically between January 1st and our wedding in September…other people’s weddings, and the birth of a niece. Not small things, obviously, but we were a bit distracted too. Call that Part 1, with 13 sub-albums.

Part 2 would be all the pre-wedding craziness, including organization, websites, invites, showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and a pre-wedding non-rehearsal rehearsal dinner. 7 sub-albums in all.

Part 3 is the wedding day itself. We had tons of good photos from the official photographer, as well as candids from friends and family who shared them with us. That’s another 22 sub-albums of shareable photos, plus another 2 of ancillary prep stuff during the day that don’t need to be shared.

Part 4 is the honeymoon, with some 15 sub-albums, a huge collection of photos.

And Part 5 is the last three months of the year, October to December, with more weddings and some big news from us.

Like I said when I started the “push”, that is a lot of photos and a lot of sub-albums. I’ve made it all the way through Part 1 Regular, Part 2 Pre-wedding planning, Part 3 Wedding Day, and Part 5 Regular stuff the rest of the year.

For those doing the math, that leaves the honeymoon photos. Another project all on its own, on top of the rest of the year’s collection. But these are a lot more scenic. 🙂 Time to visit Hawaii!
