2021 in review — cooking, family, and home
In 2021, I didn’t make a huge amount of progress with cooking. We did a bit with the Raddish cooking sets, at least early on, but I got away from them. Almost all of the items on the list were bumped to next year.
For family, we started off better than we finished. We did some Lego early on, and had bigger plans to do more. We also enjoyed some escape room puzzles, and I thought some Kiwi crates for STEM would be fun. Almost all of them died on the planning table. We are spending a lot of time at night just doing our own thing.
On the overall home front, we made some good progress on desk / work areas. My area is going well, generally, and we got a new desk set up for Jacob. We’re close to a good arrangement for astronomy equipment in the garage, ordered some new furniture for the rest of the house, and I’m hoping by the end of the calendar year, we’ll be able to tick some big boxes on the to-do list still.
